Four sensitive magnetometers in the FX-12 walk-through frame scan for hidden ferrous items as small as the spring or hammer in a composite handgun. And it’s affordable. WARNING The FX-12 only detects objects containing iron or steel. The FX-12 will not detect objects made of copper, brass, aluminum, plastic or wood. Some objects may not be detected because of their composition (e.g. certain alloys), size and location on the subject. If an undetected object passes through the FX-12, that object may be used to cause injury or death.
